"Nice surprise, the food was really fresh and delicious and both the owner and wait staff could not have been more eager to please. Even my impossible to please kids were happy. We will be going back."
“Are there enough STARS in the GALAXY to rate AMICI ITALIAN BISTRO of East Meadow? Not likely. A new eatery, we eat at AMICI's at up twice weekly. The entrees, salads, Pizza, panini's, AWESOME. His meatballs, homemade sausage, fresh vegetables, pasta dishes . . .I could on and on are just delicious. He makes Fresh Mozzarella, Fresh dough for the pizza and panini’s and even makes homemade sausage. This is not a fast food, junk food, processed food. The owner has obviously put his heart and soul into his cooking. All ingredients are FRESH not FROZEN and obviously cooked by him with a passion for Italian foods. We have eaten Fried Calamari all of the area -- NONE compare to how crispy, light and tasty this appetizer and/or entree is at AMICI'S. The owner is so pleasant, so personable as his his staff. The restaurant is Pristine and so welcoming by its decor as well as the owner/chef and his staff. This week we tried SHRIMP & CALAMARI over Linquini FRA DIAVOLO. Just the right heat, The sauce as delicious as my Grandmother's - just delicious marinara. FRESH not from a jar. We have even purchased his sauces to bring home.. OH. . .the owner/chef uses Extra Virgin Olive. . .!! This new restaurant is the ITALIAN JEWEL of East Meadow. The food authentically Italian and created with the same passion for good, healthy food as my immigrant family from Italy.”
“Stopped in for lunch on my lunch break and was very pleasantly surprised. The chicken sandwich on their bread made in house was out of this world. Made to order and extremely fresh...This is a hidden gem, looking forward to using them to take-out company lunches in the near future.”
“We went there a week ago, we just wanted to check it out. Everything was out of this world awesome. The service was great. Been there 2 more times from home, and once for take out from work. Everyone that had lunch that day, loved it.”
